Join us on Saturday, June 17 for Juneteenth UNITYFEST, a BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! concert co-presented by Robert Randolph Foundation. This annual event brings together diverse voices in honor of Juneteenth and its impact on Black and American culture.
GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Stokley opens UNITYFEST, followed by a headlining set from seven-time GRAMMY nominee Joe. Voices of a People's History will introduce each artist set with readings from Voices of a People's History of the United States in the 21st Century: Documents of Hope and Resistance, read by actors Gbenga Akinnagbe, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Aldis Hodge.
Join us for a night of music and storytelling as we celebrate the rich layers of Black history and Black futurity.
